Cristian E Leirós, MBA
Cristian Leirós, is the founder and chief executive officer responsible for making managerial decisions. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Florida International University. He has also completed the prestigious Professional Certificate in Credit and Credit Risk from The New York Institute of Finance, also he has been awarded an International Trade Finance Certificate from Florida International Bankers Association (FIBA) and a Commercial & Industrial Lending Certificate from The Center for Financial Training (CFT). His most recent achievement is a Management Leadership Certificate from FIU Executive Education and Dale Carnegie Institute on April 2021.
Prior to founding Leiros Consulting Group, Mr. Leirós worked at FISERV a Fortune 500 Company as Sr. Business Consultant. Preceding this role, he spent eight years at Mercantil Commercebank, N.A serving domestic and international private clients. One of his most important position was an International Corporate Officer, managing one of the most important portfolios at the bank’s LATAM Division. Maintained business relationships with executives from Cargill, Banco Cargill and Cargill do Brasil, Bunge, Braskem and Volvo do Brasil. In addition, he served as Venezuelan Oil – Gas Loan Portfolio Officer. Gained in-depth knowledge on Accounts Receivables (A/R) Financing, Purchase Order (P.O) Financing, Inventory Buyback, and Supply Chain Financing. Cristian banking career started as a Teller in Washington Mutual, N.A. (WaMu).
Mr. Leirós holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Florida International University with specialization in International Business. He is a trilingual professional, fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
Mr. Leiros currently resides in Miami with his wife and daughter. He is a member of the Miami-Dade College Alumni Association, Florida International University Alumni Association and FIU Alumni Mentor’s Association. He regularly donates to Goodwill of Miami-Dade County and volunteers at Habitat for Humanity, Liga Contra El Cancer and March of Dimes.
